Foundation

The idea for Creating this unique online group came from Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, India where a piece of ancient evidence was found of Drawings and Paintings from pre-historic times, But no biggest artist or art form shone till today from this place. Bindaas Artist Group (BAG) was established in 2009 in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, India as a pioneering initiative aiming to create a platform for dialogue, networking, and knowledge sharing among contemporary art exhibitions around the world. Bindaas Artist Group for Indian Art is dedicated to fostering exploration, understanding, and enjoyment of the visual arts of India for national and international audiences. Recognizing the importance of experiencing original works of art, the foundation provides opportunities for interaction and showcase of work, beginning with the presentation and growth of its own art collection in India. To further cross-cultural dialogue on Indian art, the foundation supports and collaborates on innovative online Art exhibitions, Art competitions, and promotion programs. Implicit in such activities is the belief that art has the potential both to distinguish cultures and to unite them.

To shape and enrich the quality of life for the residents and visitors all over the world and to become a leader in the areas of art appreciation and artist promotion for the local community. Bindaas Artist Group will present curated exhibitions of art and culture across historical and contemporary topics, with a particular emphasis on subjects of both regional concern and international.

Mission

 

• To develop and maintains a highly visible online interface functioning as the REFERENCE point for exhibition worldwide.

• To support or produces relevant ARTISTIC and CREATIVE projects;

• To organize or contributes to cultural experiences for diverse professional and non-professional audiences.

• To provide ADVICE for individuals, associations, and institutions intending to enrich their local infrastructure for contemporary art by setting up a new international exhibition or yearly art event.

BAG Membership

​

• The new Featured Artist Membership programme has been officially unveiled by Bindaas Artist Group.

• We are constantly looking for new methods to increase our marketing efforts on behalf of the outstanding artists we continue to find throughout the world.

• Artists will be able to get continued marketing all year long with this new non-exclusive, selected Featured Artist Membership.

• This opportunity is open to all artists over the age of 18 who have a body of work that may be considered coherent. A coherent body of work to exhibit is a requirement for this opportunity, which is available to artists over the age of 18 from any country in the globe. But unlike Artist Spotlight, which grants artists a one-month solo online show, this Featured Artist Membership will provide artists a full year of continual online, email, and social media exposure.

• For upcoming, mid-career, and established artists, this Bindaas Artist Group Artist Membership intends to increase their promotion prospects.

 

Benefits of becoming a BAG Featured Artist Member:

• One-year Online gallery membership that is renewable annually on the anniversary of becoming a member

• Upon renewal, the artist member can change out their body of work with new works and update their biography and/or artist statement

• The Featured Artist Member will receive a dedicated webpage on Bindaas Artist Group website.

• All Bindaas Artist Group Featured Artist Members will be marketed and promoted extensively through the Bindaas Artist Group websites, online press release announcements, email marketing campaigns to buyers, collectors, galleries, and art professionals, online event calendars, art news through our extensive and continually growing social media network.

• Member Artists will receive free invitations for special art competitions and exhibitions throughout the year.

• Each Saturday, an Artist Member will be randomly selected and promoted throughout all of Fusion Art’s Social Media networks

• Best in Show winners of our quarterly art exhibitions now receive a complimentary one-month solo exhibition as part of their award package.

• The Featured Artist Membership webpage will refer all interested parties to the Artist’s main website and all purchase inquires will be referred directly to the artist for negotiation and sale. Bindaas Artist Group does not collect a commission on any sales.

• While our monthly, quarterly, and Artist Spotlight online art competitions do not require an artist to have a website, it is strongly recommended. Artists who are serious about advancing their careers should have an online presence that includes a well-designed and user-friendly website, not just social media profiles.

Each dedicated BAG Member’s page will include:

• Digital Certificate of recognition for becoming an esteemed member

• A short paragraph introduction about the Artist

• A no more than 100-word Artist Biography

• A no more than 100-word Artist Statement, about the body of work being featured including their inspiration and process for the creation of their work.

• 8 images of the Artist’s work will be featured on the page

• Upon renewal of the Artist’s Membership every two months, artists can switch out their 8 images to a new body of work and provide an updated Artist Biography and Artist Statement.

Eligibility:

​

• Open to artists worldwide over the age of 18

• Artists must have a website or social media profile page like Facebook, LinkedIn, Behance, or Instagram that can be viewed as part of the promotion process. Someone can individually host it.

• Artists must have an adequate body of work to be juried.

• Open to visual artists in all 2D & 3D mediums, including but not limited to painting, drawing, pastels, inks, pencil, printmaking, encaustic, fabric, mixed media, digital art, collage, photography, clay, relief, pottery, sculpture, installation, kinetic, and conceptual 3-D artworks created in metal, paper, wood, stone, fiber, plastics, glass, ceramics, or any other material which can create 3-dimensional art.

• Work must be the original creation of the artist.

• Digital Art that is a derivative work, created from another original artwork, that must be significantly different to constitute a new original work. The BAG reserves the right to request a copy of the original artwork if copyright infringement is suspected.

• Although nude art is acceptable, it must be in good taste. Graphic erotic art and art that depicts graphic sexual violence, Controversial themes are not acceptable.

• There are no size limitations to the artwork.
